Delete your ThaiHelper account

You can request deletion of your ThaiHelper account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data afterwards.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email from your registered address

Email support@thaihelper.app from the same email address you used to sign up. Use the subject line "Delete my ThaiHelper account".

2. Confirm in the reply

We will reply within 2 business days to confirm the request. Reply once more confirming you want to proceed — this prevents accidental deletions.

3. Deletion within 14 days

After your confirmation, we permanently delete your profile, messages, references, certificates and any uploaded photos within 14 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (name, photo, bio, contact details)
  • Your messages — both sent and received conversations
  • Uploaded references, certificates and ID documents
  • Favorites, search history, push subscriptions
  • LINE Bot link (if linked)

What we keep — and for how long

  • Email audit log — your email address may appear in Resend's delivery logs for up to 30 days, after which it is purged automatically.
  • Database backups — encrypted Supabase backups are rotated automatically; your data is fully gone from backups within ~30 days of deletion.
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics — counts (e.g. "5 new helpers in May") with no personal information attached are retained indefinitely.

Removing only some of your data

If you want to remove only certain fields (e.g. a single message, a photo, a reference) without deleting your whole account, log in and remove it directly from your dashboard — or email support@thaihelper.app with the specific request.
